Trail Starter Recovery Pack – X-BULL 11-Piece Winch Recovery Kit

Everything you need to rig a winch recovery properly, packed in one heavy-duty bag. The Trail Starter Pack suits Wrangler, Cherokee and Grand Cherokee owners heading out on their first serious tracks, and anyone who already has a winch but not the gear to use it safely.

• 8,000 kg × 9 m winch extension / tree trunk protector strap (polyester)
• 2 × 4.75 tonne bow shackles
• 8 tonne snatch block, for double-line pulls and changing the direction of pull
• Recovery damper (winch line dampener)
• Folding shovel
• Shackle hitch receiver to suit a 50 mm towbar receiver (5 tonne rated)

Important: the strap is not a snatch strap

The 9 m strap is made from low-stretch polyester. It is designed for extending a winch line and protecting trees, not for kinetic (snatch) recoveries. For a snatch recovery, use a purpose-made nylon snatch strap rated to suit your vehicle.

Use it safely

• Only connect to rated recovery points, never to a tow ball or tie-down point.
• Fit the damper over the winch line and keep everyone well clear of the line under load.
• Inspect straps and shackles before every use and replace anything cut, frayed or bent.
